My fascination with Frogfish is almost like a holdover from a genetic memory of being swallowed up in an ambush by a rock. Frogfish catch their prey by wiggling their "lure" which is like a mini fishing pole with a worm on it. If you watch them carefully they cast their bait and wait for an unsuspecting fish to come up and examine it, then swallow their prey up in a flash. They are so successful that they rarely move more than a few feet from one spot for months while they catch and digest their prey.
