Very little is known about the mating habits and range of the Manta Ray. This image shows a 20 foot creature with two remora on him. The Manta is another example of super large creatures eating very low on the food chain. Like Humpback Whales the Manta is a plankton eater. It feeds by sieving the water. The Manta can sometimes be seen feeding by turning cartwheels amidst plankton.
